TAT Technologies and Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen Launch MRO Partnership in China
TAT Technologies Ltd and Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen have formed a strategic partnership to establish China's leading repair facility for aircraft heat transfer components. The collaboration will provide MRO services for Environmental Control, Bleed Air and Fuel Inerting Systems across major aircraft platforms.
The joint venture aims to create the Asia-Pacific region's largest capability center with full core replacement services. Operations have already begun supporting Chinese operators through TAT's existing infrastructure while the permanent facility is prepared.
"This partnership aligns with our strategy to expand globally and improve customer service," stated Igal Zamir, CEO of TAT Technologies. Benjamin Scheidel, CEO of Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen, added that the venture will deliver "world-class quality and cost-efficient solutions in this growth region."
The collaboration combines TAT's expertise in thermal component MRO with Lufthansa Technik's position as a leading maintenance organization to establish market leadership in the expanding Chinese aviation sector.
